Well you might have noticed... i have moved my blog partly to the Google Blogger service... The past year my blog site has gotten slower due to a few reasons... the database which stores the blogs is inefficient (flat file and has grown to 3x times the size of last year) and poor programming on my part. Also I had tweaked the php scripts so much from the original source it is really hard to update the backend... so i thought it would be better to use something that was written by proffesionals.
Anyway on to my blog.
My only mate i met at work is leaving :( it was funny I was his only mate as well. So now i will not have anyone to talk to... it just gets better and better doesn't it!
Anyway we went for a drink down Paddington Central... we was joined breifly by Tien who works in the area as well. My work mate must thing i'm a real tourist cos i kept taking pics for my blog... but he doesn't know that... he things i'm just like taking pics.
The other night, Myself, Thach, Monica and Jessi went to have Korean.... Went to Koba (Thach going to review it out4food.blogspot.com ).... Anyway all of us agreed the food was good.... and the atmosphere very good... forget Ran this is the place to be...
It was nice to spend an evening with nice ... i had a really good time...
After that went to my secret hiding place for a few drinks...

Tonights youtube is of one of my fav tunes at the moment... its a cover.. not the original... i hated it at first but it grows on you....
Today i read in the paper that people who blog should be careful... as employers increasingly type employee names into goodle to find their myspace blogs etc... so i guess i better watch who i moan about.
Today i had a meeting at 10am down Baker Street and I was late for it.... it was a disaster.... i think i left late on purpose... i must be subconsciously trying to get myself sacked. Got to the office at 10.15 and my phone rings... it was my project manager... wondering where i was... i was like "er Hi i'm in the lobby downstair" then kinda rushed off the phone... got tot he meeting room i had kept everyone waiting i feel so bad... what was i thinking...
After the meeting i decided to take a long walk back to the office... wasn't really bothered to go back so quickly... when i got back... my work mate said hi to me etc... all i did was make a few grunting noises... they must think i'm so moody now... i guess i have been... and very anti social...
Why the hell am i being like this i don't have a clue.... so anyway tomorrow i'm going to have a new start and start fresh gonna be cheerful and happy,.... let see how long that lasts for....
At Lunch met up with glenys for bit as she was in paddington station waiting for the train to Reading..... i don't even remember what i spoke to her about .... all i rememeber is how nice my Elderflower drink was...
Anyway... Congrats to Jessi for getting a job at German giants SAP, she deserves it.... and a Traitor to Oracle :p
Recently i've had nothing to do at work cos there isn't much work, so been going on the internet.... then one of the managers was like asking me how i was.... have you got enough work??? and said something like i go online quite alot... but in a jokey way....
If he can make the observations, how many others have as well.... I hope they have brains and think perhaps if i had work then i would do it. Sometimes the work they do is not very efficient either... i installed a macro software on my computer and it has saved me time doing things as well.... oh well .... today i was acting like i was busy... but tbh there isn't any work ...
Tien one of my work mates at INPS is starting at Cerner right next to me.. i now have a lunch buddy... It's weird how everyone is in Health IT.... he's at the oppersite scale to me... he get to go to USA for business trips .... i get to go to chelsea with my oystercard... NICE!
Went to see Glenys for a quick meal on monday evening... ment to meet at 6.30 but my car nearly ran out of petrol so rushed to petrol stations.... Went to wagamama to eat, service was shit... asked for another set of cutlery watched the waitress do about 10 other things and she still didn't get the cutlery... so i decided to get it myself...
Was really funny while waiting and eating our food... we didn't say anything at all... it was almost like we hated each other... we was that hungry ... once outta the place the talking started....
went to troc for a while to play arcade .... played the skipping game again ... felt really anti social that night... refused to play racing games cos i didn't wanna get beat by a girl (not that i'm saying i was crap) and refused the pub cos i was anti social.... nice...
anyway after that i went to tesco to see if that moutain bike for £36 is back in stock wasn't so went home....
Thursday went to Sharnjit leaving do... after so many years at INPS he has left...
What is wrong with me... my english is getting really bad... because i speak less at work compared to my old job i swear my polite english is going down hill... My project manager ask how i was and i said "i'm cool thanks" man i know i'm common but i don't want him to know that....
I also find it hard to speak at meetings as well... the last one i went to i could hardly speak in front of everyone ... i basically kept stuttering... great!
Went out with Jessi the other day.... went for a game of bolwing... i can't believe she beat me!!!!!!!! its embarassign... she doesn't even play... had a good chat and stuff... (i'm still shocked jess!)
So anyway on fri went to have lunch with Thach and some Italian place down soho.... waiting inside in reception area... Sony must be on high alert 2 sec later i was being questioned (this was the day after the ps3 launch).... i'm waiting outside next time :p

After that went to Beard Papa for some lovely sweets...
In the evening i went to the Electric Brasserie its like a really trendy place to eat in Notting Hill. I thought i was dressed really nice but most people were dressed really formal... so i have learnt my lesson now.... check out my full restaurant review on the above link.... I felt really common in there the waiter spoke well spoken... and theres me with my crappy common london accent :(
Sat - went shopping etc and chill .... later on went to watch Mr Bean the movie.... bloody hell it is sooo rubbish ... some parts were funny... but i was really disappointed.
On sun went dim sum.... then went shopping played pool then went for a drink with Glenys. Later in the evening she dumped me for another guy to have dinner :( very jealous hahahaha
Had a really nice day... ain't spoken to her for ages cos she was hiding in Reading and Isle of wight....

As you know they were installing an air con unit on fri at work. It was very messy and most of the day i was working in another office because of that.
When i got back to my desk it was absolutley covered in dust... luckly i moved my workstation and stuff etc.
I decided i couldn't be bothered to clean it up as it was a fri... so I got into work today and decided i will start cleaning... took me a good 30 min to clean everything... was really proud of my turn around...
1 hours later and the aircon guy was back to install the control panel for the air con unit.... and guess what happened... He made a mess again.. dust everywhere i was so annoyed as i just cleaned.. i should have known the aircon unit was incomplete...
So spent the afternoon cleaning up again... I was really tired today.. had a really unproductive day......

Glad to see that my sister tuition fee are going to good use.... this is what she does at uni...
Fri... They decided to install Air conditioning in my part of the office... (because my part of the office is new)
Anyway whoever did the ordering ordered a massive aircon designed to cool down server rooms... its really large... so i can't wait when they switch it on and it freezes me to death...
For lunch I walked around Paddington Central.... the area kinda reminds me of the La Defense area of paris... open space and very modern
Fri after work metup with Anna for Dinner... Went to Thai Soho ... was very nice then headed to the arcades to play a few games... chekc out the Video blog.
Sat went out with Jen and Melvin... went shopping for some stuff then went to play a bit of pool then went to eat at this cool italian place down old compton street really yummy... after that went to a korean Cafe it was really nice... and very friendly...
Sunday i went to have Hotpot (打邊爐) with Thach, Son and the Wan family up in Northampton....
Before setting of i had to go and pump my tyres seems like i have a slow puncher on my front left tyre... not bad enough for it to totally deflate.
Got there ate Hotpot, played Jungle Buzz which is a really good game which i won!
Bit of Wii then it was time to go home...
On the way home Thach was driving and it seems like he was racing me ... so i started speeding up as well... in the end he won only cos i couldn't get passed the cars dam you!
Besides that had a great time... hotpot was good... the company was good... all good....
Wed night went to Zen, a club night that i was a co-founder in ... as a co-founder i get free tickets so i decided to go....
Overall once the dance floor got kicking it was wicked... i spent more time on the dancefloor than VIP ...

Day after was quite tired... I was hotdesking in Chelsea.... was really tired from night before but still managed to figure out a major issue....
For lunch i went to listen to a busker play music... thats how lonely my lunches are.

After work i went into central to meet up with Glenys. I wasn't very chatty at first just to tired... went with her to Ran ... it was nice... first time i've eaten raw beef.... its wierd... but nice.
After that went to play pool and some video games... i must be so crap at games now cos i got beaten twice on 2 racing games. After that we both went home.... saw Ming in Las Vegas as well... ain't seen him for ages!

I've never went to meet so many people in so many different places in the space of a weekend ever....
It all started on Fri. Went for a drink with my only work mate around Paddington . After 3 drinks i was quite tipsy and dizzy.... after doing that i went to meet up with Thanh for Dinner. Went to Zipogu ... it was ok... i've had better... After taking the train home bumped into Eva at Hammersmith station so went Tesco to shop and have a chat down at the Hoover Bulding Tesco on the A40... This was like at 11pm!!!
After that went home....
This weekend I went to Jen's Home town of Northampton... Took about an hour to get up there.... first impressions is that Norhampton is really boring and i'm not surprised that Jen and Monica have moved down to london. You can tell how developed a city or town is by the number of argos's they have... so Norhampton has 3 Argos's so its a 3 Star City so quite significant.
Anyway Jen took me to her house and bloody hell it's massive ... never been to a really large house in the UK before.... It's really nice... the area was so quiet a shock to a london person ... Met her sister and brother... very firendly... I felt like i already knew them from their blogs...
After that we went to her parents Restuarant... Food was really nice... now i'm not saying that just for the sake of it... the food was actually really nice...
After that we went back to the house to rest up a bit more then it was the long drive back to london... We stopped by Thach and Monica's place for a chat .... Thach showed us his PS3 then the debates came flying out hahahahah.... It was all good.... PS3 does looks impressive... but for the price not sure if i would pay that amount.
We just chilled there for a while then it was off home.
Sunday afternoon... My sister took us out to have Thai down Portabello Road. It was really tasty.. I am going to embrace local resturants now I find that places round here are as good as central london so i think i will not venture far anymore and just eat out round my area.

I've given up fixing my computer... changed the mainboard and now the USB doesn't work... google says something like the usb2 drivers are messed cos i swapped MB. Formatting is long so i decided to just buy a new machine... So I;m getting a Dell 3ghz dual core, with Vista Business edition sometimes this week.
At work today we got in trouble... the phone voice recognition system is at testing stage... It's really cool you say someones name and it calls the number... anyway we wondered if it would recognise names if we miss pronouced them like totally wrong or even made up new surnames....

Anyway the comms team were listening to what was being requested and was quite worried with one comment my work mate made on the lines of rapes something and they told him to basically behave lol

it was one of those weekends... where i thought id be staying in for the weekend but nope i was all out!
Friday went to see Hot Fuzz with Yee .... now i have to admit it wasn't a movie i'd thought i would like but it was actually really good and funny... went to eat at Okawari down soho... it was so nice... the soft shell crab there is sooo nice...
Sat - Met up with Jessi in the afternoon... both was quite hungry... so first place we went to was wagamama to take advantage of the 2 for 1 offer... meal came to £8 for 2 main dishes... really cheap!
Then headed to my secret hiding place... was helping her with a few job stuff... After that made our way to Arriang down golden sq where the table was booked for 9pm... when we got there we wasn't really hungry... so we decided not to eat... but me being ultra cool didn't tell the staff i was leaving and Jess was really annoyed about that...
Anyway 10pm after walking round central deciding what to do and where to eat we couldn't decide... I was tired so i sat on the floor in the middle of china town.... by this time we was both annoyed with each other i think... and like didn't speak .... but then we were both was diplomatic and decided on Pizza express... and all was happy again....
so the moral of the story here folks is stick to the plan....
On the whole it was a good night... its always nice to meet friends you haven't met for ages...

I went to a meeting a C&W Hospital today. It's a really modern modern hospital... I went in and it didn't even feel like a hospital... it seems to have a great modern atmosphere... would love to work there....
Actually gonna be Hotdesking outta there a few days while they go live...
After that i decided to go meet up with Thanh, Axe, Ben, Seb and Inni for lunch.... it was sooo nice meeting them again.... so much fun... it was nice it was almostly like we never stopped going lunch....
Anyway after that i had to rush back to debrief my line manager and write up my report
Besides that just an average day.... oh actually i forgot... it wasn't an average day... took my car in to VW this morning... cos of the engine problems i've been having since dec... VW took the engine apart today and discovered a problem with the cyclinder head so it looks like i won;t have my car for a while :(
I'm thinking perhaps i will drive my Micra instead... but it's such a non cool car to drive...
