Last night it was Thanh Bday bash so we all went to a club called Titanic down Brewer Street in Soho.
This is basically a massive dance floor with a bar right in the middle. The night was alright ... music was cool.... old skool Jungle was mad!
what a shame a massive fight put a damper on the night.... while we were standing on the side this guy looked very angry and started trying to break his beer bottle to use as a weapon.
Next thing you know there was what seems to be a massive fight which went aiti-clockwise around the dance floor.... not sure what happened as there was a massive crowd but the end result was a guy bleeding from the face... blood was dripping on the floor etc.
Everyone in the club stopped dancing, then after a while they mopped the blood up and cleared the glass and the crowd started to dance again like nothing happened.
overall it was a good night.... you can never prevent trouble like this from happening.
Chck out the picture above..... You can tell when parents are bored when they start adding comments to 100+ pictures
My Dad was browsing YouTube the other day and he typed in our surname and guess what cam up? me acting stupid etc. Problem being one was me swinging on the bars on an underground train... Hmmmmmmmm power of the internet hey! Ending up calling me naughty had to explain that was 5 years ago.
Hmmmmmmm the other morning i was going to work and guess what i saw? A Military style check point.... i was like wow!!! what going on here? Is there a criminal on the loose or something... no it was a Car Census! I've read about these in the papers it's quite annoying cos if you are asked to stop by the police i guess you have to.
Problem is when your driving at 7.30 in the morning it's sure not for fun and everyones prob going to work or something .... lucky the police waved me through but how annoying it would be to get stopped just so that they can do a survey at 7.30 am in the morning, which could make you late for work.
Fri had a date with some person what pisses me off the most is someone calling you 15 min before the time you're meant to meet them and they just say "I've just leaving home now" (when it will take them more than 15min to get to the meeting place) with no real reason why they are delayed unless ... i just think it's a lack of respect, cos i've made the effort to get ready and be on time etc.
Anyway i wasn't to happy infact i was angry.... any 2 hours later i eventually met up still not impressed. She decided to make it up to me and took me to Carluccio's near Selfridges in Central London. Famous Ex-Capital Radio DJ Richard Bacon keeps mentioning how nice the one in Chiswick is so though this should be good.....
In a blatant attempt to calm me down or the term i use "drug me" a bottle of white wine was brought. and Dam that did the trick! :wassat:
The starter i had was a massvive plate of Parma Ham was very fresh.... my main i had Grilled Swordfish, with herbs and Parmasam. Really nice you couldn't taste the chesse the mix was very complimentry.
I guess the night got better.... it acutally ended on being a very good night.

If you haven't seen Ong Bak already let me educate you.... it has one of the best chase/fight scenes of all time.. check it
Shipwrecked @Titanic on Saturday should be a good night .... i haven't been clubbing for a while.... i'm going to behave myself i'm not gonna drink for the night lol... Not to sure if i can achieved that.
Recently been really bored at home... cos i haven't got much money cos i blew alot fo it in Bristol that i've been on a budget this week and last and it's really hard but i'm coping.
To clear my mind of it all i've taken to playing Sims 2 again to keeps me occupied. Problem is i get to addicted to it like on sat night i was playing the sims till 5am in the morning... I normally take the piss out of peeps who play WOW but perhaps i'm turning into a geeks as well lol.
Recently theres been alot of activity on my myspace... its seems all my old school friends have been adding me etc.. somes i haven' even spoken to for like 10 years.... seems really weird how myspace has brought us all together again. It's nice to know what people are up to now a days....
oh one last thing i managed to bring my sister out of blogging retirement so check out her blog. http://www.xanga.com/pavineejane
Ok i got ripped apart for the crappy weekend blog entry i admit it is of a low standard but hey i actually didn't do anything for once!
Anyway on to tonights blog.
Tonight I was just watching TV then suddenly i felt really dizzy.... i thought i was gonna black out... i feel much better now but i think i'm going to sleep early.
This evening i filled in the Residents Congestion Charge discount form (for people who don't know to drive into london you have to pay a toll charge but if you live within the zone you can get a 90% discount). I'm so against the extension to the west of london, i don't really see the real benefits of it as everyone will try to avoid it therefore causing more traffic around the zone.
Computer Gaming as changed so much in the past few years i really wonder what's gonna happen. As gaming becomes very mainstream so do games, it seems only Nintendo are still innovating compared to Sony and Microsoft. Most innovative game of the year is Brain Train on the Nintendo DS, saying that there are so many wacky games that never reach europe one of them which i am a big fan of is the densha de go series (jap train sim)... now thats a really cool games hahahahah
The Picture below was taken at ECTS 2003 with Hideo Kojima (former Vice President of Konami Computer Entertainment Japan now Head of Kojima Productions and Creator of Metal Gear Solid.) Many people worship him...
London is now blessed by 2 Free evening papers... its quite mad cos in a day you can be picking up so many free papers... you just wonder how normal newspapers are coping. If you're wondering i'm a London Lite fan :p
Forgot to mention that i recently went to see a fashion show... on show was the All Saints Brand... wasn't really my style... but what they say about models is true... they are so thin!!!!!!!
Looks like theres a bug going round the office been off for the past few days...
In that time i've been resting and just watching DVD's
Got a letter about the Congestion charge today. Asking to register so i can get a 90% as i live in the area.
Only in the UK you can make people pay for something that they were doing free before. So now i have to pay £4 a week to just drive!
Good news is that they are creating a new bus route (Route 452) from my area straight to my work place so i guess that's an incentive to leave the car at home!
For the international readers i was in Bristol this weekend.... [map above]
Sat - Went to watch Russell Peters. Now if you don't know who this guy is... check youtube then search for russell peters... last year his stand-up show was making its rounds over the internet ... next thing you know his lines are being quoted on every street corner.
Anyway the stand up show that was on the internet was really funny and i think that's a big problem for Russell Peters. The show itself was funny but not as funny as the video that went round the internet (i think he's always gonna be compared to the internet vid).
Anyway everyone really loved the show, I did as well... he even managed to say his trademark "Somebody gonna get hurt" as well.
Junior Simpson was his supporting act and he was really funny as well....
I knew it was a small world and stuff but i spotted a few people i know there!!!! one of them was Kevin he came all the way from Birmingham to watch the show quite a surprised seeing him as i haven't seen him for more than a year.
After the show we all went for a drink at the Marriott Hotel ... it was a nice 5 star hotel and all.... but seeing a mousejust run past us really put us off!
Sun went round the broadmead shopping centre and after that started the long drive home.... took me 4 hours to get home had to take a few naps along the way as i was really tired.
Before the Show on Sat I went to Loch Fyne.... its the nicest seafood place i have ever been to. one of my fave dishes was wild scotosh sashami, basically 4 small chunks of raw wild salmon dipped in soy sauce.... it was sooo tasty! The seafood platter did it though, everything tasted fresh and clean.
The staff were really friendly... to a point that saying "nice to meet you" just freaks you out!
This weekend i'm in bristol having a chill out weekend.
I left friday evening straight from work..... took me 3 hours to get there cos there was alot of traffic and stuff!
When i got to bristol i quickly checked into the hotel then it was of to get a quick bite to eat then on to Oceana...... now oceana is like one of the most famous nightspots in kingston so we thought we would give it a try here. so anyway the place was sooo nice... it has 6 themed bars which are look super cool. The tokyo bar is so futuristic then you have like an ice bar which is all white etc.
I wish i could put pics up but i forgot to bring the cable to transfer the pics from my cam.
Sat i'll be shopping in the city centre and gonna go watch the Russell Peters stand up show at Colston Hall.
I have a feeling i'll be seeing other people i know there....
[if you're wondering how i am blogging this i have a Fujitsu P2040 Laptop with a Orange 3G data card]
I was really upset that everyone else could see there finishing video on the nike website but i couldn't! for some reason when i enter my name it says it cannot find me...
I was so annoyed it bugged me so tonight i started to look at the nike run london source code to try and figure out how the video are found and displayed.
Basically i had to figure how this line brought up the vids. Initially i thought it was a Hex code but i figured out it wasn't by comparing Dennis's and Seb's code I discovered that the last bit of this code was a time stamp.... next part was to figure out how the time stamp worked took an hour to figure out how it worked... with this information in hand Dennis help me try many codes until we found my vid.... well happy now!!!
So here it is! Myself finishing the Nike 10k run! (I appear int he middle top after 7sec)
Check out my new feature... my MoBlog... Basically a Mobile Blog... basically everytime i take a picture on my phone it will be uploaded onto this page... kinda like a blog described by pictures... My Moblog
Well cos of the Nike 10k taking most of my weekend i haven't managed to write up my weekend blog so here it goes....
Sat - Went to Mandarina Duck to look for a new bag didn't find any my style... so decided to Head down the Paul Frank.... nothing that i really like.... jeez seems like i'm so picky these days
After that we went to Arang in Golden Sq Soho for Dinner... very lucky that i made a booking cos another group that came in at the same time as us basically got our table after we finished eating .... they made them wait for like an hour and a half to be seated....
Had some Beef and Seafood BBQ Korean Style.
The food was yummy (I guess thats why it's really busy).
- Monday -
Due to the Nike Run i took a monday in advance off just in case I was really injured. Woke up in the morning and I felt massive pains in my back and legs... and the amount of McD's i ate the night before decided it wanted to come out all in one go :(
Anyway today I met up with my shy friend for Lunch and Shopping in Kingston. Didn't actually buy much... i actually do more window shopping then actual shopping.
Went to this ice cream place in the Bentall Centre... while eating i saw one of the staff do something that really put me off my ice cream.... it was so off putting i'm not going to have anymore ice cream there.
Tonight I went to have dinner with Thanh, Yen, Chi and Huy.... They decided it'll be indian tonight so picked up Chi and Yen fron High Street Ken then headed to Elephant & Castle.
The meal itself was very nice....
Thanks to Yen and Chi for paying!
Recently i've been feeling down.... i've had many things on my mind recently... I'm sure everyones has had this before when you think you really wish things weren't the way they are..... I guess thats the story of my life.
Oh well you can't have it your way all the time... times like this you have to be strong and try to move on. I really sometimes do believe things happen for a reason.
I guess the cold season has started.... its sooo cold outdoors now and even colder at work. In the summer at work its normal to wear a jacket indoors then take it off outdoors cos it can be quite cold with the air con doing over time.
anyway wednesday my mate was cussing me in the car.... I put the climate control on cos it was hot and when to pick my friend... now in the car and going to Queenways the following conversation took place.
Person A: Why do you have the air con on? Champ: Cos it's hot! Person A: what do you mean hot? Champ A: as in humid hot Person A: er outside its freezing cold
[turning down the windows]
Champ: Oh shit its really cold! DOH! Person A: hmmmmmmmmmm
I've gone mad!
Anyway on Thursday I went to have Dinner with Son and Thach. As it was Son B-day on Sat so it was also present giving time...
We decided to have our meal at Ten Ten Tei in Soho... i had the yummy Sushi and Sashmi Set....
After that decided to go home...
Got home i fixed one of my computers cos i wanted to run Windows Vista on it (the new windows o/s) it is really good a little bit buggy at the moment. it's prob not due to windows but software not being compatible...
Tonights Youtube: Ever wondered what happened to the Teletubbies? We'll they've gone gangster ... check it!
Last week I got offered the position of Team Leader for a new team being created (Managed Service). I have accepted the new position and take the new role sometime next week.
Congrats to Thanh who is becoming Team Leader as well.... he's heading up the new and improved Communications Team!
I'm quite happy with the role as i guess it's a new challenge for myself managing a team.

In the Afternoon drove to Knightsbridge to do some Shopping at Harvey Nics. Brought some skin care stuff etc...
Afterwards took the train to Covent Garden.. Now i remembered why i hate taking the tube! There were delays. Packed platform and a really hot carriage.
Anyway onto Convent Garden in a really hot train headed up to Paul Frank the Mens collection was a bit of a let down i think. Afterwards went to a few other shops... by this time it was 6pm so i decided to go back to knightbridge to get my car and drive it to Soho.
Evening went to have Dinner with Minh, Charles and Thanh, Thanh was late cos of traffic so the other and myself decided to go and have a drink while we waited for Thanh.
Ended up in Slug and Lettuce down Soho. after a while Thanh called saying he was in Covent garden so we decided to walk there... we made a short stop at cyber candy (who have moved to a larger store).
After metting up with Thanh we went to a place called Fire & Stone. It seems like a very upmarket place but anyway if you don't have a reservation don't bother going! we waited for nearly and hour at the bar and will still didn't even get our table... we had a nice chat and all at the bar but i don't think it would have been worth the wait.
I had an alternative ZiZZi down the strand so we all marched down there and what happened they are fully packed as well!!!!! grrr So we decided to walk back to convent garden... the rest suggested Thai but i refused it as i had eaten thai all week and i suggested chinese but they had eaten it all week as well... (i also hate going to thai restaurant cos they like to comment on how bad my thai is)
Anyway i remembered there was another Zizzi in Covent Garden so we headed there... and finally had a meal by this time it was 10pm! Stayed there chatting till 11.30 then we called it a day.
The Next morning my Sister took my Mum and I out.... we didn't know where to go so we decided to eat at Nando's Pary Royal. My mum had never been to nando's before so she was confused with the concept of paying first.
After that we drove to Brent Cross to do some shopping, there was so much traffic going into the place it was nasty...
I was talking to my sis about how my mate think that mum's a bad cook as we never eat at home and to my surprised she replied "i don't eat at home either"
I'm glad i wasn't the only one who did that... my mum doesn't really cook for the family now cos no one eats at home... she only prob cooks properly on a Sunday now... It's funny as a family of four it's not very often you will see all four together so when we are all at home my dad is always surprised and says "that's amazing everyones at home... everyone must have run out of money."
I find it boring at home anyway... no one hardly talks each other now.... everyones glued to there computer screens..... Mum's reading the News, Dad's reading the Pantip.com forums/msg board. Sis just talking crap on msn and myself er blogging.
