Friday had a Birthday dinner.... thanks to Gemma, Sussie, and Anna for organising it.

The girls booked us into a private room at the China City restaurant (Imperial Garden) Very nice..... Karaoke at the place was cool... good selection only problem was... it was midi music.... ok to sing along to but kwai had the idea to repeat gloria again and again while we ate.... music all got to us so we all got our high tech phones out and started playing real music into the mic :p

Anyway after the food the singing started and a few were crazy than others...

The night was more than just my bday it was a nice get together... first time for ages that we've all gotten together like this...

Booked my drving theory today... going to be taking it at the end of the month. Lets hope i don't fail  had about 15 lessons now... I think i've made ok progress... hopefully i will get my license by the end of this year.

Ever thought of a way to make money with your used underground tickets.... well some people have come up with a way.... sell them on ebay!!! I have to ask the question ... what can't you sell on ebay?
Link

Final moan....

This has been bugging me for ages... the bloody Doritos Adverts with Vernon Kay in them.... they are sooo shit.... and now they have another ad set in an airport... and this ones even shitter.... Why would loads of people dancing while eating doritos wanna make you buy the item?

Vernon i know they're paying you alot but dude! It ain't doing your career and good.

This is what the company website says about the advert

Doritos Extreme Tandoori Sizzler.
TV presenter, Vernon Kay can be seen getting everybody in the Doritos mood with the help of some saucy air stewardesses in the latest TV Advert for Vernon, who is the face of Doritos, can be seen starting a party at an airport check-in desk following an announcement that the flight to Bombay is delayed.

Passengers, with the help of two sexy air stewardesses, get into the Indian swing of things and start dancing as packets of Doritos drop into the queue like gas masks from overhead lockers.

Doritos Extreme Tandoori Sizzler is a hot new Indian inspired flavour to add to the extreme range – a sizzling snack with a whole lot of extra power – and follows in the footsteps of Extreme Chilli Heatwave.

The hugely popular corn snack is great for sharing with friends or if you just fancy a great tasting snack all to yourself.

Vernon Kay said: “The new Tandoori flavour is cracking. It has definitely got a bit of a kick which makes them a very moreish snack.”

He added: “We filmed the ad at Stanstead and everyone stopped to see what the noise was – especially when we all started dancing to Indian music!”

Corinne Prior, Doritos Senior Brand Manager added “The Extreme flavours are always a massive hit, especially with the guys – and Tandoori Sizzler is no exception. The advert was really fun to film and great to see Vernon in action for Doritos once again.”

Doritos celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and new Extreme Tandoori Sizzler flavour is a great new addition to the popular snack range.

The ad will be on our TV Screens from Wednesday 1st September.

Game Star Live Journal Click "read more".

Day 1
Very Busy Last week. Worked at GameStars Live at Excel last week. It wasn’t that bad… It got off to a bad start cos the power to the stand kept failing. After that happened it was smooth sailing. Job done Day one ends.

Went around the show a bit and saw Donkey Konga… what a cool games… can’t wait to see it released. Sim 2 also caught my eye the graphics in this version were very crisp. Last but not least PES4 god of football games… this is gonna be massive when it is released.

Day 2
Everyone was tired from the first day as we finished the night before at 8 and had to be in again at 9.30 it was lame… after the morning blues the day went ok again… did the competitions on the main stage (first prize was to win an ipod).

Afterwards we went to eat in china town we were so hungry at that point. Son Showed us his new phone line which he took of a hooker (no joke well he found it and her clients keep calling the PAYG sim.)

Waidat and his lady friend came to the show…. Managed to sneak him in. he seems to enjoy it he came again on Saturday.

Afterwards went to Lloyds bar for a quick drinks…. Then it was off home…

Day 3
I was regretting going out the night before cos I was so tired….. Same old day met some of the regular to the show again…. Tried to get home early to sleep off my tiredness… Ming came that day.... haven't seen him in ages...

Day 4
What a busy day it was today…. Loads of people came to the show. By this time you could easily profile what type of gamer people were…. and some of the visitors were extremely weird. Matty had this shemale eyeing him up :p will not let him forget that moment :p

Jason Ho made an appearance haven’t seen him in ages… He ended up winning the low score competition which was very hard.

Afterwards went to Gems get together birthday bash…. Stayed for bout an hour then went home cos I was working the next day….

By the time I got home its was 10.30… wasn’t looking fwd to waking up at 8am.

Day 5

Last day… in a happy mood that everything was going to end, only person who was in even before 9.30 and in an energetic mood was Jen… everyone else came late due to tiredness or delays or both. Saw Nigel and Charles at the show.... both i haven't seen in ages.... quite and surprise meeting them.

In 5 days we must have directed 100’s of people to the Activision stand for the yellow tony hawk chains. It was very annoying at that point. Near the end everyone wanted freebies one guy even wanted Mattys addidas top.

It is now Tuesday and I am still tired. :p Melvin and I are like old men now… we are still recovering.
